Welcome to the EmPower Community. We’re happy you have joined us. To keep this community safe, supportive, and valuable, please take a moment to read and follow these guidelines.

1.      Be kind and courteous

This is a safe and thriving space for EmPower participants to share thoughts, feelings and experiences. We want you to be authentic to your values without fear of judgment. Please treat everyone with courtesy and respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.

2.     Use appropriate language - no hate speech or discrimination

Let’s make sure that everyone feels safe. Please refrain from using offensive or inappropriate language. Personal attacks, harassment, or bullying of any kind isn’t allowed, and degrading comments about things such as race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.

3.    Respect everyone’s privacy

Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make our group great, but they may also be sensitive and private. What’s shared in the community should stay in the community. Do not share personal information (yours or others) without consent. Nor should screenshots or recordings of group conversations be shared outside this community.

4.    Take care of your mental health 💛

This group is here to provide space to share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences on the good and bad days. It allows you to connect with like-minded people on the same journey too. If you are struggling with your mental health, please seek professional support, and know you are not alone.  

5.    Keep it relevant – no misinformation or illegal activities

Let’s ensure our posts, comments, and discussions are relevant to the community’s purpose. Off-topic posts may be removed.

Any content or discussion involving illegal activities is forbidden.

Avoid spreading misinformation or false claims. Please fact-check information before posting it, especially if it concerns health, safety, or legal matters.

6.    No self-promotion/networking business/spam

Give more than you take to this community. Spam and irrelevant links aren’t allowed. Be courteous of our no-networking/self-promotion rules. While we encourage you to share your experiences and appreciate our careers are often part of this, please be mindful of the line between sharing/self-promotion. This group is not a platform to promote your own business or services or to network/nurture its members. This includes using this group to network to launch your own services.

7.     No programme admin queries (please email us instead)

For programme admin queries please email connection@em-po.com rather than posting to the group or DM’ing the admin team.

8.     Share your stories, progress, and thoughts

We believe in the power of connection. So please do actively share your stories, progress, and thoughts – the good and bad days.  Contribute to the discussions, ask questions and actively connect with the group. Help build a vibrant community - you may inspire someone else or find comfort in the lived experience of others in this empowering group!

9.    Report issues

If you see something that violates these guidelines or have any questions or concerns, please report it to the group admin privately. In the event these guidelines are violated the individual(s) concerned may be warned, temporarily muted or removed. Let’s keep our community friendly, supportive, and inspiring on our journey to EmPowerment!
